This belt from the leather manufactory Kreis is made of two layers of finest leather flat and open-edged. The upper leather is a vegetable-tanned Italian cow suede with a velvety feel. Inside, a strong, pit-tanned blank leather from the tannery Kobel in Kelling husen is used. The natural colored leather is polished at the belt edge with a colorless, transparent wax, giving the belt a casual and sporty character. Belts of this type are also called “sneaker belts”. Thanks to the high fat content of the inner leather, the belt becomes particularly supple after only a short wearing-in period. It is closed by means of a nickel-plated and polished full brass buckle from Italy.
